Hi, I’m Danielle! I’m an Art Director and Photographer based in Boston, MA.

Now that you’ve had a chance to look over my portfolio, here are 10 random facts to get to know me:

  1. I grew up living upstairs from my Dad’s funeral home, and it was super haunted. My senior thesis for photography was about my experience living there. Wanna see?

  2. My pride and joy is my corgi, Winston.

  3. My favorite place I’ve been is Brugges, Belgium. My entire inspiration for going there was watching In Brugges once.

  4. My instagram handle is based on my husband and I having the same name @TheBetterDanMiller.

  5. I drove roundtrip from MA to GA to adopt my crazy little cattle dog, without meeting her first, all in 48 hours.

  6. I’ve been told that I can be very “candid”.

  7. I’m obsessed with cacti. I’ve lost track of how many I have in my house, but my favorite one is over 3 feet tall.

  8. I started my own wedding photography business in 2013 and have a studio in Lowell, MA. (Danielle Ashley Photography)

  9. I’m terrified of birds, but I have two bird tattoos. Go figure.

  10. I found out one of my best friends was engaged from a mail-ordered potato with the engagement details printed on it. This same friend asked me to be a bridesmaid via potato.
